Non-Surgical Nose Job

What is a Non-Surgical Nose Job?

A non-surgical nose job, sometimes known as a “liquid nose job,” is a procedure that does not require surgery. In a non-surgical nose job we use small amounts of Fillers & Botox to correct certain nose deformities.

This procedure is suitable for people who want to treat bumps drooping tips, and crooked noses, without surgery. It takes around 15 minutes and the patient can go back to work on the same day. Non-surgical nose job is performed for patients who would like to alter their nose but aren’t ready for a long-term solution or are concerned about the hazards and recovery time associated with standard nose surgery.

How Does a Non-Surgical Nose Job Work?

A non-surgical nose job is an uncomplicated procedure, especially when compared to surgical rhinoplasty. To enhance the shape of your nose, the doctor injects fillers with cannulas and Botox with small needles. The procedure is painless, and the effects are temporary.

The doctor might use ice to the nose to numb the skin before conducting the injections. To keep you from feeling discomfort, a topical anesthetic may be administered to your nose and surrounding area in some procedures.

Your doctor will inject the fillers and botox into the area around your nose and maybe the bridge of your nose after the anesthetic has taken effect. While this is being done, you may feel a tiny pinching or pressure.

After treatment, what to expect?

You may have discomfort, swelling, and redness where your injection was put during a non-surgical nose job. The injection should begin to settle after an hour or two. The redness should fade, and you’ll be able to see your intended outcomes more clearly.

Within a week or a couple of weeks, full results should appear. By then, any redness or bruising should have gone away completely.

Avoiding complications: Doctors usually use smooth tipped cannulas to inject fillers in the nose or needles in the midline only, where there are few blood vessels.   This is to avoid injecting fillers into the blood vessels of the nose which is an extremely rare, yet serious complication due to communications between the nose and eye blood vessels.
