Patient Instructions before & after Peels or Fractional Laser

Before Your Cold Pee Appointment:

Sun Exposure: Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning for 4-6 weeks
Skincare Products: Discontinue using products containing retinoids one week before treatment.
Isotretinoin or Roaccutane: stop for 6 months before peeling.
Clean Skin: Arrive at your appointment with clean skin.
Clothes & Social commitments: You might leave the clinic with peeling paste applied for 6 hours. For body peels wear dark clothes as light clothes might stain.

After Your Cold Peel Appointment:

Hydration: Keep a very thin layer of moisturizer on your skin as needed for up to 3 days post-procedure. Do not let the skin dry out.
Makeup: Avoid makeup and sunscreen for a minimum of 48 hours post-procedure.
Swelling: Mild swelling may occur upon awakening for the first 48 hours post-treatment.
Sun Protection: Avoid direct sunlight for 48 hours after your treatment and wear SPF 50 sunscreen thereafter to protect the skin.
Retinol Products: You may resume using retinol products 7 days after your procedure.
Avoid Hot Tubs and Saunas: Stay away from hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms for 1 week post-procedure.
• The skin usually starts to peel within a few days.
