Patient instructions for the Dermarpen Microneedling treatment:
Pre-Treatment Instructions:
• 48 hours before the treatment, avoid using:
• Retin-A (or similar Vitamin A derivatives) or other exfoliating products.
• Prolonged sun exposure for two weeks
• If you have active acne or skin infections, postpone the session.
What to Expect During Treatment:
• Come with a clean face (no makeup, moisturizer, or sunscreen on the day of treatment).
• Arrive at the clinic 30 minutes early if using numbing cream.
• Afterward, the treated areas of your skin will appear red, similar to sunburn. You may also feel tightness and warmth. These symptoms are expected to disappear within 24 hours.
Post-Treatment Instructions:
• Wash your face twice daily and apply the cream prescribed by the doctor twice daily for 7 days after the treatment.
• Avoid intense sun exposure for 48 hours.
